15 year old sketches

I was looking through an old sketchbook yesterday. I loved collecting baseball cards and drawing my favorite players. I would spend hours a week drawing. Then it hit me that these drawings are dated almost 15 years ago. That was followed by the realization that these represent the halfway mark of my life so far (I'm nearly 30.) It weird to think of it that way. I've come a long way and I can't wait to fine tune my skills for years to come. Maybe at 60 (if I make it that long) I'll look back at the art I'm making today!

It's easy to take my skills for granted but I've had some recent tendinitis in my drawing hand that has reminded me to be thankful for this talent.

Ozzie Smith

Cardinal's great: Ozzie Smith! AKA: "The Wizard of Oz."
Having some issues with tendonitis in my drawing hand but i persevered!

Chipper Jones

Even as Atlanta struggles I love the Braves. This is Braves great Chipper Jones. I have no doubt he will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer.
